Instructions

Step 1

Grape compote (method 1). Choose grapes with dense large berries, preferably Senso, Karabur-well, or Crimean black grapes. Rinse the berries thoroughly, carefully divide the brush into small parts and place in jars. Pour 25% sugar syrup. Add citric acid to acidify, close the syrup jars with lids, sterilize.

Step 2

Grape compote (method 2). Place the washed bunches or separated berries in jars. Pour boiling syrup over the edges. After 5-6 minutes, drain the syrup, bring to a boil again and pour over the grapes again so that the syrup spills slightly over the edges. Seal the jars immediately and turn them upside down for 24 hours.

Step 3

Grape compote (method 3). Rinse the grapes, carefully remove from the stalks, put in jars. Boil water with sugar a little and refrigerate. Pour the chilled syrup over the berries. Place a slice of lemon on top. Sterilize for 10 minutes or pasteurize for half an hour at 80 degrees. Cap the jars and refrigerate.

Step 4

Grape compote with spices and honey. Rinse large grapes, remove the berries from the stalks and place in jars. Boil the honey, cloves, vinegar, and cinnamon well to remove the foam. Pour hot honey syrup over the grapes, close the jars tightly, wrap them in a blanket and leave to cool completely.

Step 5

Grape compote with apples. Wash the apples, cut them into quarters and remove the core. Cut the fruits into slices, sprinkle them with lemon juice. Rinse the grapes with water, separate the berries from the brushes. Blast the grapes in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Then transfer it to a colander and pour over with cold water.

Step 6

Divide the apples and grapes into the jars at half the volume. Prepare and strain the sugar syrup. Pour it over the jars to the brim, let it sit for 5 minutes. Drain the syrup, bring to a boil and refill the contents of the jars. A small amount of syrup should spill over the edges of the jars. Seal the container, turn over and leave to cool.
