Fruit drink is a soft drink, which is prepared as follows: water is boiled with sugar, and then the juice of fresh berries or fruits is added. Unlike compote, in which the fruits are boiled with water, most of the vitamins are retained in the fruit drink.

Red currant fruit drink

For cooking you will need:

- water - 1 l;

- red currants - 0.3 kg;

- sugar - 100-150 g.

Currant berries (you can also use frozen) grind in mashed potatoes or grind in a blender, rub the resulting mass through a sieve or squeeze through cheesecloth. Put the dry part of the berries in a saucepan, pour in, add sugar and bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Let the syrup boil for 3 minutes, then turn off the gas and cool slightly. We filter the syrup, add the berry juice, bring it to a boil again and turn it off. Serve chilled to the table.

Cherry-raspberry juice

For cooking you will need:

- cherries - 1 glass;

- raspberries - 1 glass;

- water - 2 liters;

- lemon - 1 piece;

- sugar - 3/4 cup.

We wash the berries, remove the seeds from the cherries and pour them together with the raspberries into a deep bowl. We fill the berries with sugar and put them in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, knead the berries with a crush or a wooden spoon, pour the juice into a separate container, and put the pulp in a saucepan and fill it with cold water. Bring the broth to a boil, cool and add berry juice and juice squeezed from lemon, mix and cool everything.

Gooseberry fruit drink

For cooking you will need:

- gooseberries - 2 glasses;

- lemon juice - 1 tbsp. l;

- sugar - 1/2 cup;

- water - 1 liter;

- cinnamon to taste.

We wash the gooseberries and put them on a napkin so that the water swells and the berries dry out. Using a juicer, squeeze the juice from the berries, and discard the pulp. Mix gooseberry juice with sugar, stirring until the sand is completely dissolved, add lemon juice and cinnamon to taste. Pour the juice with cold boiled water, stir and cool.
