You can replace sugar with honey.

Mash the berries with a wooden mortar or spoon until puree. Squeeze the juice out of the resulting puree through cheesecloth. Do this in small portions, not all at once.
Mix the pomace that remains with water and repeat the same thing several times until you have squeezed out all the most valuable of the berries.
You should have a concentrated cranberry juice. Add sugar to it and mix well. Dilute everything with water (2.5 liters).
