It turns out that pilaf can be cooked not only with lamb or some other meat. Even pilaf, cooked completely without meat, as a real and very healthy lean dish, can turn out no less wonderful.
  It is necessary
- - 850 g of rice;
 - - 195 g of onions;
 - - 175 g of dried apricots;
 - - 155 g of raisins;
 - - 215 g of apples;
 - - 85 ml of vegetable oil
 - - seasoning for pilaf;
 - - salt, basil.

Instructions
Step 1
Peel onions, rinse thoroughly and chop. Heat the sunflower oil in a deep cast-iron skillet, put the onion into it and fry lightly for about 8 minutes.
Step 2
Pre-soak dried apricots and raisins in warm water for 15 minutes, then drain the water and cut the dried fruit into small pieces.
Step 3
Peel the apple, wash, remove the core and pits, cut into small pieces.
Step 4
Transfer all chopped fruits to a skillet with onions, reduce heat slightly and continue to fry for another 12 minutes. Then sprinkle with seasonings for pilaf, salt and pepper and mix everything thoroughly.
Step 5
Rinse the rice in cold running water at least 7 times, then transfer it to a frying pan with fruits without stirring. Carefully top up with water so that it covers the whole rice by no more than 1 cm.
Step 6
Cover the pan with a lid, reduce heat to very low and cook for about 35 minutes until rice is cooked through.
Step 7
Then turn off the fire, mix the ready-made pilaf and let it brew for another 30 minutes.
Step 8
Serve the dish with fresh herbs and tomatoes.
