Fruit pilaf can diversify any table. If you cook this dish, all guests will be sure to ask you for the recipe. This unusual pilaf will become a table decoration for the New Year.
It is necessary
- - 1, 5 cups unpolished gray rice;
- - 150 g butter;
- - 50 g of raisins;
- - 50 g of dried apricots;
- - 50 g of prunes;
- - 50 g of almonds;
- - 0.5 cups of pomegranate juice;
- - 2 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- - 1 carambola.
Instructions
Step 1
Take 1, 5 cups of unpolished, so-called gray rice with live germ of grain (capable of germination), boil in plenty of water until half cooked, discard and rinse with water.
Step 2
Now melt in a saucepan (if there is no cauldron) 100 g of butter, pour rice into the butter, mix well, cover with a lid and leave on minimal heat until the rice is cooked. Make sure not to burn!
Step 3
Take a handful of raisins (you can mix black and brown), dried apricots, prunes and a little almonds, and fry everything in 50 g of butter. Do not fry for long.
Step 4
Then boil the syrup. Mix 0.5 cups of pomegranate juice, 2 tbsp. l. sugar and one carambola (carambola is not necessary, you can use it, since its taste is very similar to the taste of pomegranate juice, the same refreshing), bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Put fried fruits in the syrup, stir well and turn off. Mix the finished filling with the cooked rice.
