Cocktail making is a special art with a rich history. Over the years, thousands of cocktail recipes have been created, but only a few of them have gained worldwide fame and widespread popularity.
Mojito
This famous cocktail has a good refreshing effect, so it is best to drink it during the warmer months.
You will need:
- 60 ml of Cuban rum;
- half a lime;
- 7 mint leaves;
- 2 tbsp. Sahara;
- sparkling water, for example Perrier;
- crushed ice.
No mint liqueur is added to the classic mojito.
Prepare your cocktail directly in the serving glass. Juice the lime. Place mint leaves on the bottom of a tall glass, pour lime juice on top and add sugar. Mash the leaves a little so that they give juice. Top with rum and fill half a glass with ice. Pour soda water on top. Stir gently and serve with a straw. If desired, decorate the rim of the glass with mint leaves or a slice of lime.
Pina colada
This cocktail is associated primarily with tropical beaches and exotic islands.
You will need:
- 40 ml of white rum;
- 20 ml dark rum;
- 120 ml of pineapple juice;
- 40 ml of coconut milk;
- crushed ice;
- a slice of pineapple;
- candied cherries.
Drain rum, juice and coconut milk into a shaker, add finely crushed ice. Whisk the cocktail and serve in a tall, bulky wine glass. Decorate the edge of the glass with a pineapple wedge, and top with candied cherries.
Margarita
This cocktail is simple to prepare and the composition of the ingredients, but it has always been a success with the public.
You will need:
- 50 ml of tequila;
- 30 ml of Cointreau or Grand Marnier liqueur;
- half a lime;
- crushed ice;
- salt;
- a separate lime slice for decoration.
Juice the lime. Pour juice, tequila and liqueur into a shaker, add ice and shake. Serve in a tall glass, sprinkled with salt on the rim and garnished with a wedge of lime.
Blue Lagoon
The specificity of this cocktail is that it has a deep blue color.
You will need:
- 40 ml of vodka;
- 30 ml of curacao liqueur;
- half a lime;
- crushed ice.
Juice the lime. Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Whisk and serve in a tall martini glass.
This cocktail can be garnished with a thin spiral of used lime peel.
Bloody Mary
You will need:
- 40 ml of vodka;
- 120 ml of tomato juice;
- 10 ml lemon juice;
- 1 tsp Worchershire sauce;
- 2 drops of tobasco;
- a sprig of parsley;
- crushed ice;
- salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Pour all ingredients into a tall glass and stir. Add ice, salt and pepper to your glass to taste. Garnish with a sprig of fresh parsley.
