Therefore, various cucumber snacks are in such demand; many salads, stuffed dishes and snacks can be prepared from them.
Spicy cucumbers
This appetizer is ideal for the winter. All year round, you can pamper loved ones with a spicy dish made from a healthy vegetable.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of cucumbers;
- 60 g horseradish;
- 40 g of dill and salt;
- litere of water;
- 10 cherry leaves;
- a clove of garlic;
- vinegar essence, mustard powder, peppercorns.
Place all the spices in the jars. Prepare a brine from salt, water and mustard, pour cucumbers with them, pour in vinegar, roll up the jars. To prevent the mustard from settling on the cucumbers, it is better to dip it into the brine in a gauze bag.
Dandelion salad
With the addition of cucumber, you can make a lot of salads, the Dandelion salad is especially good. It got its name due to its composition, which includes green cucumbers and dandelion petals.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg of fresh cucumbers;
- 100 g of radishes and mushrooms;
- 50 g dandelion petals;
- 3 eggs;
- 3 tbsp. tablespoons of mayonnaise;
- dill, parsley, salt.
Cut fresh cucumbers into small cubes or circles. Soak dandelion petals in salt water. Boil champignons, chop smaller, chop boiled eggs and radishes. Stir all ingredients, add mayonnaise, mix again. The salad is ready, you can, if you wish, decorate it with dill and parsley on top. The salad should be served chilled to the table.
