  • - sugar - 200 g;
  • - peeled sunflower seeds - 100 g;
  • - water - 2-4 tablespoons;
  • - a few drops of lemon juice.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour the peeled sunflower seeds into a clean skillet. Fry them for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly. Please note that you do not need to use vegetable oil when frying.

Step 2

Take another frying pan and put granulated sugar in it. Also add a few drops of lemon juice and water to it. Put this mixture on fire. Cook it until it turns into a brown mass - caramel. Remember to stir it constantly while cooking.

Step 3

When the caramel is done, add the toasted sunflower seeds to it. Mix everything thoroughly. During this procedure, in no case remove the mixture from the heat, as the caramel quickly hardens. Violating this rule, you will not get a homogeneous, well-mixed mass.

Step 4

Cover the form in which you will lay out the mixture of caramel and seeds with special baking paper - parchment. Lubricate it with enough butter or sunflower oil. It is better to do all this in advance.

Step 5

Put the hot mass into the prepared dish and spread it evenly over it. After 2-3 minutes have passed, make small cuts on the kozinaki. They are necessary in order for the finished delicacy to be more conveniently divided into separate pieces.

Step 6

Allow the treat to completely solidify, then serve it to the table, having previously broken it into pieces. Seed Kozinaki are ready!
