We bring to your attention small, juicy and very tasty meatballs from beef (you can use chicken) meat, which are cooked in a fragrant mushroom sauce. This dish requires a minimum amount of products, as well as a little time. Therefore, it will be the perfect option for a family dinner.
Ingredients:
- 0.6 kg beef or minced meat;
- 100 g of boiled rice;
- 200 ml of cream;
- 1 onion;
- ½ a small carrot;
- 1 egg;
- ground black pepper;
- 1 tsp a mixture of cilantro, salt and ground nutmeg;
- 0, 4 kg of fresh or frozen mushrooms.
Preparation:
- Rinse the rice, pour into a saucepan, add water and boil until tender, following the instructions on the package.
- In a deep bowl, combine the minced meat, boiled rice and a raw egg. Season everything with salt and pepper, mix until smooth.
- Pour oil into the pan so that it covers the bottom. Warm it up well.
- Moisten hands in cold water. Roll up small balls with an approximate diameter of 3-4 cm with wet hands from minced meat.
- Put all the meatballs in hot oil, fry until golden brown, rolling them gently during frying.
- In the meantime, you need to prepare the mushroom sauce. To do this, peel the onion with carrots, chop finely and grate. Put in a skillet and fry until soft in sunflower oil, without frying vegetables.
- Wash the mushrooms, chop randomly and place with soft vegetables. Put out everything together for a quarter of an hour, adding a little water.
- After 15 minutes, pour cream into the vegetable mass, mix everything, season with spices and bring to a boil. Pour the prepared mushroom sauce into a saucepan, mix into the cream with a blender and pour it back into the pan.
- Put the fried meatballs there and simmer them for about 5 minutes over low heat.
- Serve hot meatballs in creamy mushroom sauce with your favorite side dish. Also, fresh vegetables in the form of slices or salad are perfectly combined with this dish.
