We are used to the fact that a pie is a rather complicated dish, which takes a lot of time to prepare. But this wonderful pie is prepared in just half an hour and at the same time it turns out to be very tasty and satisfying.
It is necessary
- - 4 chicken breasts (fillets);
- - 150 g of champignons;
- - 1 layer of ready-made puff pastry;
- - 100 g sour cream;
- - 300 ml of chicken broth;
- - 6-7 onions;
- - 20 g butter;
- - 1-2 pcs. bay leaf;
- - 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg;
- - 1 teaspoon of mustard;
- - 1 tsp flour;
- - 1 egg;
- - vegetable oil, thyme, salt, pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the fillet into strips, their thickness should be about 1 cm. Put the fillets in a preheated pan with vegetable oil (about 2 tablespoons). Add salt, pepper, butter, nutmeg, thyme and chopped scallions. Stir and cook over high heat for about 3 minutes.
Step 2
Cut the mushrooms into thin slices and add to the chicken. Also put sour cream, flour, mustard in the pan and pour the chicken broth. Mix everything well and leave on low heat for 3-4 minutes. The excess liquid should evaporate.
Step 3
Then put all the ingredients in a small baking dish (preferably rectangular).
Step 4
Roll out the puff pastry so that it is slightly larger than the baking dish. Cover the filling of the pie with the dough on top, press the edges of the dough a little against the mold. Cut the dough lightly diagonally, but you don't need to cut through it.
Step 5
To make the crust of the cake brownish, brush the dough with an egg and send it to the preheated oven. Since the filling of the pie is already ready, you just have to wait until the dough is browned. At an oven temperature of 220 degrees, this will take no more than 5-10 minutes.
