  • 500 grams of chicken fillet,
  • 1 egg,
  • 250 grams of puff pastry,
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil

Instructions

Step 1

We buy a package of puff pastry, defrost it. If you wish, then puff pastry can be made in advance.

It is better to take fillet for the filling, but you can replace it with thighs (you first need to separate the bones from the meat). Cut the meat into cubes, salt and pepper to taste (you can add your favorite spices and sprinkle a little with turmeric), leave for half an hour to soak.

Step 3

Wash the mushrooms and boil in salted water.

Peel the onion, cut into rings.

Step 4

Divide the puff pastry into two more or less equal parts. The first part will be the base of the cake, the second will be the lid. Roll out the first half of the dough and put chicken meat, onion rings and prepared mushrooms on it. Put small pieces of butter on top. We cover the filling with the second part of the dough, which was rolled out in advance. We fasten the edges of the dough. We make several small cuts on top of the cake.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 160-180 degrees and bake the cake for about an hour. To prevent our cake from being dry, we put a cup or jar of water in the oven. We take out the finished pie from the oven and leave for about half an hour, after which we serve.
