Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190C. Cover two tins with a diameter of 18 cm with baking paper.

In a bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar to form a homogeneous cream.

In another bowl, beat the eggs and slowly pour them into the cream, continue to beat.
Step 4
Add self-rising flour (this is a mixture of flour and baking powder, if it is not in the store, then you can prepare a mixture at the rate of 500 grams of flour and 16 grams of baking powder). Mix all ingredients until smooth and spread equal amount of dough into 2 tins. We bake the base for the pie for 20 minutes - the oven must not be opened at this time! After 20 minutes, check the readiness with a toothpick, if necessary, increase the time in the oven by a few minutes.
Step 5
When the cakes are completely cool, grease one of them with butter cream (whipped butter with sugar to taste) and raspberry jam. Close with a second cake and sprinkle with icing sugar. Dessert is ready!
