This soufflé cake with an orange jam layer is a self-made culinary masterpiece to be proud of. It is very simple to prepare, but it tastes great!
It is necessary
- For the cake:
- - 100 g of butter, sugar;
- - 100 ml of milk;
- - 4 yolks;
- - 1 glass of flour;
- - a bag of baking powder.
- For the cream:
- - 300 g of sugar;
- - 200 ml of milk;
- - 100 g of oil;
- - 4 squirrels;
- - 15 g of sheet gelatin.
- For glaze:
- - 2 bars of dark chocolate.
- For the layer:
- - orange jam or any other sour jam.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the cake dough. Beat the yolks with sugar using a mixer. Add milk, melted butter, flour. Introduce baking powder, stir.
Step 2
Bake the crust for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees. Then leave in the oven with the door ajar to cool the cake.
Step 3
For a delicate soufflé cream, pour the gelatin over with milk, leave for 15 minutes. Mash butter with sugar, whisk at low speed. Gradually introduce the milk-gelatin mixture. Whisk the whites separately with granulated sugar. Combine both mixtures, whisking until a thick cream is formed.
Step 4
Cut the finished cake into 2 parts, coat with orange jam. Place the cream soufflé on top, cover with the second cake layer.
Step 5
Melt 2 dark chocolate bars in a water bath, pour the resulting icing over the soufflé cake with a layer of orange jam. Refrigerate for 1 hour, then serve.
