Salads have always taken pride of place on the festive table. In addition to the usual Olivier and herring under a fur coat, you can prepare many different salads, one of which is the “Mushroom” puff salad. Thanks to its original appearance and exquisite taste, it will become a real decoration of the festive table.

- For cooking you will need:
- - fresh champignons - 0.5 kg;
- - onions - 1 - 2 pcs;
- - eggs - 3 - 4 pcs;
- - carrots - 1 - 2 pcs;
- - potatoes - 2-3 pcs;
- - pickled cucumber - 1 - 2 pcs;
- - cherry tomatoes - 2 pcs;
- - olives - 6 pcs;
- - fresh herbs;
- - sunflower oil;
- - mayonnaise.
Instructions
Step 1
To prepare the salad, you will need boiled vegetables and eggs, so it is better to prepare them in advance. Cool and clean the finished potatoes, carrots and eggs.
While the vegetables are boiling, rinse and cut the mushrooms, the pieces should not be too small. Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan, pour the mushrooms into it and simmer over low heat. We peel the onion from the husk, chop finely and pour into the mushrooms, if desired, you can add a little salt, cover the pan with a lid and fry until the liquid has completely evaporated. Put the mushrooms and onions in a bowl and let cool.
Step 2
Peel potatoes, carrots and eggs. On a flat dish, rub the potatoes on a coarse grater and give the potato mass the shape of a mushroom. We coat the potato layer with mayonnaise and spread a layer of fried mushrooms and onions on it, again coat with mayonnaise sauce. We rub the cucumbers on a coarse grater or cut into small pieces, put them on top of the mushrooms.
Eggs are grated into different bowls, whites separately, yolks separately. Sprinkle the cucumber layer with yolks and grease liberally with mayonnaise.
Step 3
Rub the carrots on a medium soup grater and decorate the mushroom cap with it. And we form a clearing under the mushroom leg with fresh herbs. We cut out ladybirds, various bugs and spiders from tomatoes and olives and decorate our dishes with them. The salad is served chilled; it takes 1 - 2 hours to soak.
