The most everyday culinary dish can be made extraordinary if it is presented skillfully. Having mastered the simple techniques of creating decorations from vegetables and fruits, you can arrange a holiday for your family every day. Children will especially appreciate your skill when, instead of boringly stuffing them with useful vitamins, you invite them to try to eat an apple swan!
It is necessary
-
- Apple
- sharp knife
- match or toothpick
- two berries of currants or blueberries.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the apple in half and remove the core.
Step 2
Put one half with the cut down and carefully cut it from both sides along the slice.
Step 3
In each of these slices, cut out two more small pieces. On the principle of nesting dolls - one inside the other.
Step 4
Insert the large slices back, slightly sliding them off the cut line, in the same way, put the small ones in their places - one into the other and each at the same time slightly shifted to the side. You should have a swan body with lush wings.
Step 5
Cut a thin slice from the remaining second half of the apple - this will be the neck.
Step 6
In the half-torso, in the place where you plan to define the swan's neck, make a deep V-neck.
Step 7
Insert the neck into the hole.
Step 8
Break off a piece of a toothpick and use it to make a currant eye for a swan. Do the same with the second berry.
