After all, many guests of establishments have noticed more than once - the waiter takes the plate with the leftover food to the sink, and is in no hurry to return to the hall.

Facts are stubborn things, and practice, contrary to the opinion of some "experts", stubbornly shows - waiters for guests.

This happens for various reasons. Firstly, the waiter can be very hungry, but there is no opportunity to eat. Either he does not have time, because there are many orders, or the kitchen has not prepared. In establishments where they cannot organize work and work processes, it often happens that the kitchen simply does not have time to prepare the service room, everyone works hungry. Work begins on average at 8 am, waiters for 14-16 hours in a row without a break on their feet, so when the next guest refuses the salad, because it contains, for example, nuts, and he has an allergy, such a salad is sent to the sink, and for a hungry waiter goes to the sink.

Secondly, in institutions where they cannot organize training, eating something for a guest is a way to get to know the cuisine of the institution.

The third reason - rare, but still - it happens that the waiter is, say, a diabetic, and he needs to cook without sugar. If in the morning porridge is cooked on everyone, sugar is put by default (why it is customary to do this is a mystery), accordingly, such a waiter must remind and wait a little longer. And then the steam will start at the kitchen, orders will go, no longer up to this patient … Further it is clear.

Sometimes it happens that the waiter eats not after the guest, but before the guest. For example, the kitchen gives, say, a portion of French fries, the waiter rakes a handful into his mouth, the rest to the guest. The reasons are the same - hunger, passing education.

There are principled waiters who never practice this. Other colleagues are very fond of such people, because if the guest left a decent portion of anything, everyone knows that such a principled person will not finish eating, respectively, you just need to go to the back room for him and carefully pick him up from his hands.

Thus, you can no longer hesitate, leaving uneaten food in the institution, it will not be lost. Because besides the waiters, the main eaters are dishwashers, they are cleaners, they are technicians, they are cleanliness operators. These are paddled clean from the plates and folded neatly into plastic bags.
