Step 1

Take a large saucepan, pour water into it and put it on high heat. Fill a small glass container with vegetable oil - this can be a glass jar or bottle (the neck of the bottle should be closed with cotton wool). Place the container in a pot filled with water. To avoid cracking the jar between the bottom and the pot, it is best to put a clean cotton rag.

Step 2

Turn on the hotplate and place the pan on it. Bring water to a boil and then reduce heat. Keep the oil jar in boiling water for at least five and no more than thirty minutes. The oil will not boil like water, but it will nevertheless be sterilized. If you notice that the oil still begins to boil, in no case extinguish it with water. Better to cover the container with a lid from the pan - oxygen will cease to flow into the jar, and the boiling will stop.

Step 3

Remove the container of oil from the pan and let it cool. To do this, you can put the jar on the balcony. Wait for the food to cool down to room temperature. Then put it in the refrigerator and take it out as needed.

Step 4

The sterilized oil obtained in this way not only does not cause allergies, but also contributes to better digestion of food. It also lacks all sorts of chemical additives and preservatives. Therefore, this kind of oil can be safely used to prepare meals for children. It is suitable for pilaf, and for salads, and for deep-frying, and for homemade preparations.
