Most homemade cake recipes are simple and don't require any special culinary knowledge. In order for the pastries to be not only tasty, but also beautiful, they must be decorated. Suitable for decorating cakes are nuts, fruits, chocolate, various creams, pastry sprinkles, homemade jelly or ready-made marmalade figurines, fresh or canned fruits.

It is necessary

    • - Confectionery crumb
    • colored sugar topping
    • various nuts;
    • - sets of special stencils;
    • - a bag of ordinary tracing paper
    • cream injector;
    • - chocolate bar
    • caramel;
    • - cookie cutters.

Instructions

Step 1

Use confectionery crumbs, colored sugar dusting, and a variety of nuts. For example, sprinkle crumbs on the cake and then create a nut ornament. The cream-covered cake can be patterned with a fork. Take a regular fork, press it against the creamy surface of the finished cake and draw a straight or wavy line.

Step 2

Come up with a cream pattern. Squeeze it out of the pastry syringe using a variety of attachments. The attachments come in various shapes, and allow you to create decorations in the form of flowers, petals, various ruffles, stars, balls, beads and inscriptions.

Step 3

Curly ornaments can be formed using cake stencils. The process of creating a pattern is quite simple: take such a stencil and a small sieve with a fine mesh. Hold the stencil over the cake, and sift the icing sugar or cocoa through a sieve. For the same purposes, grated chocolate or colored confectionery sprinkles are suitable. For them, take a sieve with a larger mesh

Step 4

Draw with melted chocolate. Put the melted chocolate into a pastry syringe and squeeze it immediately onto the surface of the cake, inventing your own ornament.

Step 5

Prepare a sheet of tracing paper, draw with a pencil an animal, or leaves, or any patterns. Take a syringe with melted chocolate and squeeze it out according to the drawing. If there is not too much chocolate, fill in the drawing only along the outline. The figurine will turn out to be delicate, light. Use different types of chocolate - the outline is brown, and the shape itself is filled with white.

Step 6

Remove the sheet of tracing paper with a drawing in a cool place, wait until the chocolate hardens. Then separate the frozen chocolate pattern from the tracing paper and place it on the cake. Use a warm knife - you will have no difficulty in separating the chocolate pattern from the base. Purchase ready-made chocolate figurines from the store. Place them on top of your homemade cake.

Step 7

Decorate the jelly cake. To prepare it, take gelatin and soak it in cold boiled water for two hours. During this time, the gelatin will swell. Put a cup of gelatin on fire, bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then boil for another five minutes.

Step 8

Add sugar and citric acid to the jelly, or you can pour in any syrup, strained jam, add dye and flavorings. Pour the finished product into several saucers, since the thickness of the frozen jelly should be small.

Step 9

Cut the finished jelly into pieces with a knife or cut out the figures using cookie cutters. In order not to bother with making jelly, you can purchase ready-made jelly figures in the store and simply lay them on the creamy surface of the cake.

Step 10

Decorate the cake with fruit. For decorating confectionery, you can use both fresh and canned fruits. Lay a ready-made, hardened layer of jelly on top of the pieces of fruit. To do this, pour the boiled gelatin not into molds, but onto a sheet of cling film laid in a baking dish.

Step 11

The jelly layer should be thin - 3-5 mm. After the jelly has solidified, the film must be carefully lifted and, together with the jelly, turned over onto the surface of the cake, then the film itself must be carefully removed.
