Easter is one of the brightest holidays of the church. On this day, people gather with their families, bake cakes, prepare holiday dishes and, of course, paint chicken eggs. Recently, more and more decor items for dyeing eggs have appeared on store shelves: stickers, rhinestones, artificial dyes. But some housewives still adhere to old traditions and prefer to use natural ingredients.

Step 1
Onion hulls are one of the oldest and most common ways to color Easter eggs. This ingredient is capable of giving eggs a variety of shades, from light yellow to deep brown. Remove the eggs from the refrigerator before preparing the solution. Their temperature should not exceed room temperature. Put the onion peel in a saucepan (the larger the amount, the richer the shade will turn out). Boil the solution for half an hour. Let it brew for 40 minutes. Add a tablespoon of salt to the solution, dip the eggs in there and cook until tender. Rinse in cold water.
Step 2
To dye the eggs blue, take red cabbage, chop it finely, pour boiling water over it and add one tablespoon of vinegar. Let the solution brew for 10 hours, put boiled eggs in there, wait for the shade you need.
Step 3
In order to color Easter eggs from light pink to rich burgundy, take raw beets, grate them on a coarse grater and boil the beetroot juice. Add one tablespoon of vinegar and salt to the resulting solution, place eggs at room temperature and cook until tender.

Easter eggs painted with turmeric are bright golden. To cook eggs, place them in a saucepan with boiling water and ground turmeric, cook until tender, and leave to cool overnight. By morning, the eggs will have a bright color.

In addition to the classic monochromatic method of dyeing eggs, you can use cereals, dill and parsley branches as decor. The method of preparation consists in attaching twigs or cereals to the egg, placing it in gauze or nylon sock. Next, paint according to any of the above recipe.
Step 6
Intricate patterns on Easter eggs can be made with thread, rubber bands, or duct tape. For cooking, take hard-boiled eggs. Dip in a solution with one color, wrap with rubber bands, dip in a solution with a different color. When the desired shade is achieved, remove the elastic bands and threads.
Step 7
To dye your Easter eggs marbled, roll over raw eggs dipped in water and onion skins and wrap them in a compron sock or gauze. Pour a bottle of green stuff into a pot of boiling water, dip the eggs there and cook until tender. Take out the eggs, rinse with cold water, remove the gauze, rinse again in water and polish the finished eggs with vegetable oil.
