This may surprise some, but there are several ways to peel a banana. Each of them seems to someone the most convenient. In addition, there are situations when it is not possible to peel an exotic fruit in the usual way. For example, the "leg" of the fetus is broken or the fetus itself is not mature enough.
Instructions
Step 1
Try opening the banana the way monkeys do. Take the fruit with one hand, so that the "leg" looks down, squeeze the very top of the banana between your thumb and forefinger and press hard. The banana peel will crack and you can peel the banana by pulling it not down.
Step 2
A method that won't work for overripe bananas is called swinging. Take the fruit with both hands, making sure that when you fold it with the Latin letter V, the rind does not wrinkle. Bend and straighten the banana several times, without completing it. Eventually, the peel will crack, the flesh will split and you will have two halves of the banana in your hands, which you can easily peel off.
Step 3
"Throw". In order to peel a banana in such a hooligan way, take it by the stalk, tilt it towards you and, with a sharp movement of your hand, throw it forward, without letting it out of your hands. If the banana is ripe enough, you will have only its "tail" in your hands, and the fruit itself will lie on the floor or on the table in front of you. You just have to pick up the peel and free the banana from it.
Step 4
A very sloppy, but fast method - hold the banana in the fists of both hands so that only a small strip of peel remains in the middle. Hold tight, but don't press. Twist one hand sharply, as if you were starting a motorcycle. The rind will crack in the middle and you can easily peel it off the fruit.
Step 5
If you want to peel a banana in the most civilized way, take a knife. Slice the banana lengthwise, and then each half again in half across. Peel the halves. Alternatively, you can slice the banana crosswise, cut the peel into each slice, and peel it off.
Step 6
You can peel a banana with a knife like this: cut off the top and bottom of the banana, cut the banana peel from the bottom up, pick it up with a knife and remove it from the fruit.
