It is necessary

  • Jelly for making figurines:
  • - gelatin (30g);
  • - berries (250g);
  • - food coloring;
  • - water (2 glasses);
  • - granulated sugar (0.5 cups);
  • - cookie cutters;
  • - thin knife;
  • - a tray or large dish.
  • Fruit jelly:
  • - gelatin (2 tablespoons);
  • - fruit juice (1 glass);
  • - water (1 glass);
  • - fresh berries (raspberries, blueberries);
  • - split form.

Instructions

Step 1

Figurine Jelly: Boil and cool a teapot of water. Pour a glass of water into a bowl and pour out all of the gelatin from the bag. Leave to swell for half an hour.

Step 2

Disassemble the berries. If you are planning to make multi-colored figures, then pour the jelly into different containers. Transparent bright colors can be obtained from cranberries, black currants, cherries. White opaque jelly is made from milk or sour cream; green color can be made by adding food coloring to the dissolved gelatin.

Step 3

Rinse the berries and squeeze out the juice. Grind the berries in a juicer or blender. Put the resulting pure juice in the refrigerator, and pour the cake with a glass of water, add granulated sugar and boil for 5 minutes. Strain. Pour the broth into a saucepan, and discard the thick.

Step 4

Melt the swollen gelatin in a small saucepan over low heat or in a bain-marie. Strain the liquid into a saucepan with berry broth. Bring to a boil and pour in the juice from the refrigerator. Stir.

Step 5

Pour the hot jelly onto the tray and into the curly molds. The layer should be no thicker than 1 cm. Put in the refrigerator to freeze.

Step 6

Remove the frozen jelly from the refrigerator. To keep the jelly well behind the walls and bottom of the molds, blow a stream of heated air from a hair dryer on the back of the molds or tray for a few seconds. Small containers can be dipped in hot water. Place the finished jelly figures from the molds on a homemade cake.

Step 7

Make figurines from a thin layer of cured jelly on a tray. They can be cut with special shaped cookie cutters. And you can make the contours of simple figures with a knife yourself - leaves, stars, circles.

Step 8

Fruit Jelly: Soak the gelatin in a glass of boiled chilled water and let sit for 30 minutes.

Step 9

Spread the top of the cake with a thin layer of a matching jam or jam. The cake should be located in a split form so that the sides are higher in level.

Step 10

Melt the gelatin completely over low heat and strain. Pour fruit juice into a clear liquid and bring to a boil again.

Step 11

Cool the jelly to a slightly stringy state and pour it over the surface of the prepared cake.

Step 12

Arrange the raspberries and blueberries beautifully in the still liquid jelly. Place the cake in the refrigerator.
