Step 1

Sift flour through a sieve, melt butter (or margarine). Then mix flour, margarine, sour cream. Add a pinch of salt and vinegar-quenched baking soda. Knead the dough. It should turn out to be soft, plastic. Put the dough in the refrigerator for an hour and prepare the filling.

Chop the chicken finely. For the pie, you can use a leg or breast.

Chop the onion. It can be cut into strips or half rings.

Pepper and salt the meat, add aromatic spices.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin rings or slices.

When the filling ingredients are ready, remove the dough from the refrigerator. Divide it into two parts: one larger, the other smaller. Roll out a larger piece of dough and place the layer in the bowl to bake the pie. It is better to use a baking sheet with high edges for this purpose. Leave some dough around the edges, this will be used to tint the pie.

Now start laying out the filling. The first layer is chicken meat. It should completely cover the dough. Then lay out the next - onion layer. Salt it lightly. Top with potatoes. Sprinkle it with salt again. Add greens on top.
