A good hostess will use everything from her summer cottage. An example of this is pickled garlic arrows. Usually they are simply thrown away, but once you try to prepare them for the winter, you will appreciate the taste of the garlic arrows. Especially if you like spicy and aromatic.
It is necessary
- - 500 g arrows of garlic;
- - 0.5 tsp coriander seeds;
- - 2 bay leaves;
- - 0.5 tsp of citric acid;
- - 0, 5 tbsp. tablespoons of salt;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the garlic arrows under running water. Let the water drain. Cut the arrows into 4-5 cm pieces.
Step 2
Prepare jars. Rinse in hot water with baking soda. Then sterilize in a water bath.
Step 3
Immerse metal lids in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Step 4
At the bottom of each jar, put one bay leaf and several coriander seeds.
Step 5
We put chopped garlic arrows. Fill with boiling water. Leave to stand for 5-8 minutes.
Step 6
We drain the water from the cans into the saucepan. Add sugar, salt and citric acid.
Step 7
Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
Step 8
We begin to pour the garlic arrows with boiling brine. Fill so that the brine overflows over the edges.
Step 9
Roll up with sterilized metal lids. Turn it upside down and remove it under the "fur coat".
Step 10
When the cans are cool, we put them in a cold place. Ready marinated garlic arrows can be served with grilled meat.
