Instructions

Step 1

It is customary to eat stuffed peppers whole, despite the fact that some people like to eat only minced meat. It's another matter if the pepper is poorly cooked and bitter from this. To eat stuffed peppers, you must first cut them into pieces with a knife. First, cut the pepper in half and then cut each part into a few more pieces. When the peppers are well cooked, this is very easy to do. While eating, hold the knife in your right hand and the fork in your left.

Step 2

When you are at home, you can eat stuffed peppers as you please. If you are afraid that the minced meat will disintegrate from contact with the knife, do not cut the pepper. Take it from the plate in your hands and eat it, gently biting off small pieces. It is possible to eat pepper with your hands only if it is not watered with some kind of sauce.

Step 3

As a rule, peppers are served with sauce or gravy. Such dishes are prepared from sour cream, tomatoes, vegetable oil, olive oil, mayonnaise, eggs, onions and herbs. So, for the preparation of tomato-sour cream sauce for pepper, take 200 ml of sour cream, 3 tomatoes, 1 glass of water, 0.5 tsp. salt, 0.5 tsp. black pepper. Rinse tomatoes, peel and grate. Combine sour cream, grated tomatoes, water, salt and pepper in a skillet. Put the sauce on fire and bring to a boil. Pour the sauce over the peppers while cooking or serving. If the sauce contains a lot of spices and herbs, it is recommended to pour it into the dish a few minutes before the end of cooking. Then the stuffed pepper will have time to soak in the sauce aroma.

Step 4

However, you can also make meat gravy for stuffed peppers. A very good option is meat bolognese sauce. To prepare it, you will need: 500 grams of ground beef, 1 carrot, 1 stalk of celery, 2 onions, 100 ml of olive oil, 3 tomatoes, 4 cloves of garlic, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. black pepper. Chop vegetables: carrots, onions, celery and garlic. Fry them in oil until golden brown. Add minced meat, tomato pulp, spices and finely chopped herbs to the pan. Mix everything thoroughly and simmer over medium heat until tender.

Step 5

When serving the stuffed peppers, generously pour the bolognese sauce over it. It is advisable to pour the sauce inside so that the minced meat is saturated with it. If stuffed peppers with sauce fall apart while eating, don't make it a tragedy. Just eat the minced meat with a fork, and cut the pepper itself with a fork sideways. Stuffed peppers are usually not eaten with a spoon, as this is inconvenient.
