The range of medicinal action of kombucha is very large. These are gastrointestinal disorders, and tonsillitis with angina, and infected wounds and burns, and metabolic disorders. Finally, it's just a delicious sweet and sour tonic drink that's pretty easy to make.
It is necessary
-
- tea mushroom
- tea
- sugar
- glass jar
- water.
Instructions
Step 1
Put one bag of ordinary black tea in a half-liter jar and pour boiling water, you can use leaf tea, but after cooling down, strain the infusion well. Cover with a suitable lid and let cool to room temperature.
Step 2
Then add 6 tablespoons of granulated sugar and stir well. Determine the amount of sugar over time to taste. It may differ slightly from the one suggested. Do not sprinkle sugar directly on the mushroom as it can kill it.
Step 3
Thoroughly wash (you do not need to sterilize) a three-liter glass jar, rinse it from the inside with boiled water.
Step 4
Gently fold the mushroom in half and gently place it on the bottom of the jar. Tilt the jar at an angle of 30-40 degrees and, gradually lifting it, pour the tea solution along the inner wall.
Step 5
Fill the jar to the upper edge of the cylindrical part with cooled boiled water.
Step 6
Put all this on a small flat plate, cover with one layer of gauze (a wide bandage - 14 cm is suitable), tighten it with a regular rubber band. To keep dust out, place a paper towel on top, squeezing it lightly over the neck of the jar.
Step 7
After 3-4 days, when the mushroom is infused, pour it into another jar and put it in the refrigerator. The drink can be stored for quite a long time. But drain the infusion at least every 4-6 days, otherwise the mushroom may stagnate and die.
Step 8
If you are a coffee lover, you can replace tea with instant coffee - the taste of the drink will change, but its healing properties will remain.
Step 9
Do not forget to rinse the mushroom every 2-4 weeks, while removing the ugly fringe from the bottom. You can use regular tap water for flushing. After such a procedure, the mushroom, as a rule, "gets sick" - it hangs diagonally or even becomes vertical. But after a few days he "recovers", taking the usual horizontal position.
