Mulled wine with cream will turn out to be no less useful and tasty. According to some reports, this recipe is more than 400 years old. Chop the ginger finely. Then add all the spices and sugar to the saucepan. Pour in red wine. Place on medium heat. The drink should be warm, but not boiling. Remove from heat, add cream and let it brew for 5-10 minutes.

There is a recipe for a warming fruit drink. Combine raisins, cloves, anise, cinnamon, lemon and apple in an enamel bowl. Add sugar and pour over wine. Refill the drink with cognac.
