Pike is a very tasty fish, despite the fact that it has a lot of bones. Therefore, it is good to bake it in the oven. And if you also stuff it, you get a festive dish.

Step 1
Peel the onion and chop it into half rings. Fry in butter until golden brown. Boil an egg and peel.

Clean the scales from the pike, rinse with cold tap water and cut the abdomen with a sharp knife. Cut out the gills and remove the fins. Remove the entrails and rinse the fish again. Now remove the ribs, scrape off the meat from the sides with a spoon, being careful not to break the integrity of the skin.

Pass the fish meat that you scraped off the sides through a meat grinder. Combine the cooled fried onion with the minced meat, add the chopped egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste, you can also add spices that you like.
Step 4
Fill the pike's belly with minced meat and sew it up. Salt the surface of the fish, sprinkle with lemon juice and wrap in foil, which is pre-greased with melted butter. Bake the pike in the oven for about an hour. If the fish is large, this process may take longer. Before readiness, in 10-15 minutes, unfold the foil, let the fragrant beautiful crust bake.

Put the finished stuffed pike in the refrigerator, when it cools down, remove the threads, cut into portions and serve, decorating with berries, lemon circles and herbs.
