Chicken sausages for children are prepared very quickly and easily, if desired, your little one can help you.
These chicken sausages, or, as you can also say, chicken sausages, are very simple to prepare. In addition, you can make them in large quantities and freeze them. In this case, you are always ready for the arrival of your baby's friends, and a simple lunch will be done much faster. It is enough just to cook ready-made frozen chicken sausages. In the freezer, they do not lose their taste and useful qualities.
Homemade chicken sausages can be given to children from 9 months of age (if there is no chicken allergy).
To make homemade chicken sausages, you will need:
- chicken breast fillet - 4 pcs.
- milk - 100 ml
- egg - 1 pc.
- herbs, seasonings (optional)
- salt (optional, depending on the child's age)
- cling film
If you are making chicken sausages for future use, you can double or triple the amount of ingredients.
- Rinse the chicken fillet and twist in a blender or meat grinder. If in a meat grinder, then twice.
- Add the egg, milk, greens, spices, garlic, salt to the resulting minced meat, mix thoroughly.
- Cut off a rectangle of cling film, lay out the minced meat on one side - 1-2 tbsp. spoons. We twist it with a tube, carefully tamping the minced chicken.
- Roll up the sausage, tie a knot on one side and tamp again thoroughly so that all the air comes out. Otherwise, after boiling, your sausages will fall apart into pieces.
- Tie the other side of the sausage.
- So wrap all the stuffing.
- Cook the sausages in boiling water for about 7 minutes, until the meat turns white.
- Remove from the water, hold it vertically by the upper knot, and cut the lower one with scissors. The sausage will easily slip onto the plate.
- Children on complementary foods from 9 months can be given chicken sausages in this form. Older children can be fried until golden brown.
