- white cabbage - 200 g,
- butter - 70 g,
- potatoes 300 g,
- breadcrumbs - 3-4 tablespoons,
- salt, ground black pepper.

Step 1
Rinse the cabbage well, dry it slightly, chop as thin as possible. Boil water in a saucepan, add salt, and lower the chopped cabbage. Cook until tender. Put the finished cabbage in a colander, let the excess liquid drain well, let it cool.
Step 2
Rinse the potatoes, peel them, cut into even pieces, boil in salted water. Free the finished potatoes from water, add 20 grams of butter, make mashed potatoes.
Step 3
Combine boiled cabbage and mashed potatoes, mix well. Add black pepper if desired.
Step 4
Brush the dish in which you will cook the casserole with a little butter. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Put the vegetable mass on top. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs again on top. Melt the remaining butter or cut into thin slices, spread over the breadcrumbs in a mold.
Step 5
Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the dish for 30 minutes, until you get a nice crust. Cool the finished casserole, divide into portions, serve. If desired, you can sprinkle with herbs and pour over sour cream.
