Casserole is loved, if not by all, then by many. This dish has been known since childhood as the best and healthiest breakfast. It does not pretend to be original and sophisticated, but the casserole with hibiscus jam in a slow cooker is able to conquer even the most demanding tastes. Plus, it's also low in calories.
It is necessary
- For casseroles:
- - 5 eggs;
- - 1 kilogram of fat-free cottage cheese;
- - 2 tablespoons of corn or potato starch;
- - 2 tablespoons of oat bran or flakes;
- - 2-3 tablespoons of low fat milk;
- - a pinch of salt and sweetener to taste
- For jam:
- - 30 grams of hibiscus;
- - 20 grams of gelatin;
- - 500 grams of water;
- - sweetener to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Separate the yolks from the proteins and combine with cottage cheese, starch, milk, bran and sweetener. Stir with a mixer.
Step 2
Send the proteins to the refrigerator for a few minutes, then beat with a pinch of salt until stable peaks.
Step 3
Combine both masses and mix very gently so that the proteins do not fall off.
Step 4
Place the resulting dough in a slow cooker for 60 minutes in the "Baking" mode. Cool the prepared casserole and garnish with hibiscus jam.
Step 5
To make jam, boil hibiscus with sweetener in water for 5-10 minutes. Let cool slightly, strain and add gelatin. Mix everything thoroughly and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
The jam is now ready to eat.
