Prunes are dried plums. For the manufacture of the product, fully ripe fruits are used, which contain at least 12% of sugars. After drying, the prunes almost completely retain the useful components incorporated in it by nature: organic acids, fiber, minerals. The energy value of the product is 231 kcal.
Prune and bran cocktail
Ingredients:
- 250 ml of kefir with a fat content of 1%;
- 1, 5 Art. l. bran;
- 2 tsp flax flour;
- ½ tsp. cocoa;
- 5 pieces. fleshy prunes;
- 50 ml boiling water.
Flaxseed flour can be prepared by yourself, for this, grind the flaxseeds in a coffee grinder.
Boil a small amount of water in a convenient container, dip the prunes in it and leave to steam for 5 minutes. It is advisable to use a fleshy prune for making a cocktail, which will be quite soft even without preliminary steaming. Pour kefir into a glass and add wheat, buckwheat, oat, rye bran or a mixture thereof. Combine the resulting mass with flax flour.
Add cocoa and mix thoroughly. When choosing cocoa, choose a natural product rather than an instant drink containing sugar and a number of other additives.
Grind the swollen prunes together with the liquid in which they were in a blender until smooth. In the absence of a blender, you can finely chop the prunes, but the cocktail in this case will be more liquid. Add prunes to the previously prepared kefir mixture and mix.
Put the prune cocktail in the refrigerator for 5 minutes before drinking. During this time, it will cool down a little, and the bran will swell, giving a useful delicacy of thickness and richness.

Delicious and healthy grape compote with prunes
Ingredients:
- 1 liter of still water;
- 200 g of white grapes;
- 100 g of cane sugar;
- 5 g vanilla in pods;
- 7 g ground nutmeg;
- 200 g of prunes;
- 200 g ice cubes.
Pour water and cane sugar into a saucepan. While stirring constantly, heat the liquid until the sugar is completely dissolved. Without removing the pan from the heat, add the grapes and prunes. Add vanilla pods and ground nutmeg. Cook the mixture over low heat for 20 minutes. Put the ice cubes in a jug so that they occupy 2/3 of the volume and pour the cooled compote.
Banana, grapefruit and prune cocktail
Ingredients:
- 1 grapefruit;
- 1 banana;
- 6 pcs. fleshy prunes.
Peel the grapefruit and cut the flesh out of the membranes. Try to keep the juice flowing out during the procedure. Cut the peeled banana into several pieces. Put the chopped banana, juice and pulp of grapefruit, washed prunes in a container and beat thoroughly with a blender until smooth. Pour the cocktail into clear glasses.
Banana cocktail with prunes
Ingredients:
- 1 banana;
- 1 tsp liquid honey;
- 350 ml of kefir;
- 7 pcs. prunes.
Pour boiling water over the washed prunes and leave to swell for 5-7 minutes. Drain, add dried plums, honey, and sliced banana to a blender. Whisk the ingredients until smooth. Combine the resulting mass with kefir and mix. Serve slightly chilled.
