    • flour - 2 cups;
    • vegetable oil - 1/2 cup;
    • feta cheese - 300 g;
    • green onions - 1 bunch;
    • salt to taste;
    • pepper to taste.

Step 1

Boil potatoes, they can be boiled in uniforms or peeled, there is no difference. Drain all the water and mash it well with a crush or pass it through a meat grinder. The main thing is to make the mashed potatoes without lumps. Add butter, salt and pepper to it.

Step 2

When the puree has cooled slightly, add 1 egg and 1 protein to it. Mix everything well, then gradually add 1 cup flour and mix until smooth. Place the resulting dough on a floured table and continue kneading with your hands, adding the remaining flour, until the dough becomes elastic and no longer sticks to your hands. You can mold the pies without adding more flour, but then you need to grease your hands with vegetable oil every time.

Prepare the cheese filling: finely chop it into cubes or mash with a fork, add finely chopped green onions and a raw egg, mix thoroughly.

Divide the potato dough into small balls. Roll out the ball into a cake, on one half of which put the filling. Cover the filling with the other half of the tortilla and top up the patty. Place the potato pies on a baking sheet, richly greased with vegetable oil.

Step 5

Brush the top with egg yolk mixed in half with water. Bake them in the oven for 20-30 minutes at 200 degrees. Serve potato pies with sour cream or drizzled with ghee.
