Here's a recipe for an easy-to-make cottage cheese cookie that will never let you down: the cookie turns out to be tender and has a rich cottage cheese flavor.
It is necessary
- Ingredients:
- - cottage cheese (250g);
- - butter (200g);
- - salt (pinch);
- - sugar (to taste);
- - flour (2 glasses);
- - baking powder (1 tsp) or soda (pinch).
- Additional ingredients (optional):
- - cinnamon;
- - vanillin;
- - icing sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Melt the butter (200g is a little less than a standard pack), let it cool, then pour it into a bowl.
Step 2
Add cottage cheese (250g is one pack), baking powder or baking soda, a little salt, optionally vanillin and sugar. Since the cookies will have sugar sprinkling, you do not need to add sugar to the dough.
Step 3
Gradually stir in the flour (approximately 2 cups). Add enough flour so that the dough is soft, elastic and does not stick to your hands. It turns out the dough.
Step 4
From the resulting dough, we first form balls, then flatten them and get pancakes. Roll in sugar on both sides, fold in half, then in half again, you get a triangle. We spread it on a baking sheet. (If this is not the first time you cook this cookie, at this stage you can go the other way: roll out the dough, use the molds, roll the resulting figures in sugar and put on a baking sheet, adjust the oven temperature and cooking time yourself).
Step 5
We put the cookies in a preheated oven (180-190 degrees) and cook until golden brown for 15-25 minutes, the average cooking time is 20 minutes.
Step 6
We remove from the oven, let cool slightly. Sprinkle with icing sugar if desired. The cookie is ready.
