Potatoes are a frequent guest on our table. To diversify your potato dishes, you can prepare delicious and original potato boats with meat and vegetables.

You will need:

  • potatoes;
  • chicken or beef meat 400 g;
  • cheese 150 g;
  • onions 4 pcs.;
  • salt, spices;
  • carrots 3 pcs.;
  • pepper 3 pcs.;
  • tomatoes 2 pcs.;
  • butter 2 tablespoons

We choose large potatoes for this dish. Wash the potatoes and boil in their uniform until half cooked. Put the potatoes on a plate and let cool. Then we make boats out of it. Carefully cut out the middle with a spoon.

Making the filling for potato boats. Boil the meat and chop in a blender. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the minced meat. Season with salt and pepper, add spices.

We take another pan and fry the finely chopped onion, add the carrots, grated on a fine grater. Finely chop the tomatoes and peppers and add to the vegetables in a skillet. Now mix the fried minced meat and vegetables. The filling for the boats is ready.

Rub the cheese with a coarse grater. Sprinkle the bottom of the boat with cheese, then sprinkle the minced meat filling with vegetables and sprinkle with cheese on top again.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and cook for 10 minutes. We decorate the boats with greens.
