To prepare boats, you need to take even smooth potatoes, it is advisable to choose oval-shaped potatoes. The bacon and cheese potato boats can be served as a main course or as a hot snack.
It is necessary
- - 5 potatoes;
- - 100 g of bacon;
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of cream;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of butter;
- - Parmesan, salt, green onions, ground pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil the potatoes until soft, without peeling. Just don't overcook, otherwise our boats may fall apart. Chill cooked potatoes completely. Cut each potato in half and remove the center with a teaspoon, leaving the sides about 5 mm apart.
Step 2
Do not rush to throw out the pulled out potatoes, add it to the filling. Mash the potatoes with a fork, add softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, cream. Season with pepper and salt to taste, mix thoroughly. The amount of cream can differ both up and down. In terms of consistency, the filling should be like a thick puree.
Step 3
Cut bacon strips into thirds and fry in a dry skillet on both sides until crisp. Cut half of the fried bacon into small cubes and mashed.
Step 4
Fill the potato halves with the filling, garnish with bacon strips on top. Place the bacon and cheese potato boats in the oven for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped green onions or any other fresh herbs before serving.
