Traditionally, beef is used in the recipe for shulum. However, it turns out to be even juicier from pork. Try this recipe and enjoy its great taste.

- - pork, 1 kg;
- - potatoes, 250 g;
- - onions, 2 pcs;
- - beets, 250 g;
- - black pepper (ground and peas);

Step 1
Rinse the pork, cut into pieces.

Transfer to a saucepan, cover with water, put on fire. Cook for about 3 hours, until the meat breaks down into fibers, periodically removing the foam from the surface, season with salt.

Peel the potatoes and beets, wash and cut into large pieces.

Peel and wash the onion. Place whole in a saucepan 30 minutes before the pork is cooked to give juice,.

Along with the onions, put potatoes and beets, as well as black pepper (both ground and peas) in a saucepan.
Step 6
Before serving the shulum, remove the onions from it. You can also sprinkle finely chopped herbs on top, such as cilantro. Serve hot. Pork shulum is very satisfying, so it can be used both as a first dish and as a second one.
