Cooking meat in a double boiler is one of the most optimal options for meat dishes, since when frying meat, like any other product, a large amount of carcinogenic substances is formed, boiled meat is usually tasteless, and when baking meat in the oven there is a high risk of overdrying it … A steamer makes it possible to cook a juicy and healthy dish.
It is necessary
-
- beef tenderloin;
- garlic;
- mustard;
- black pepper;
- thyme.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash a piece of beef tenderloin (no more than 500 g), dry it and peel off films and excess fat. You can leave a thin layer of fat on the meat.
Step 2
Divide the garlic head into cloves and peel.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine the mustard, pepper and thyme. If you wish, you can replace the thyme with another aromatic herb - rosemary or oregano, or add them to the marinade.
Step 4
Make several deep punctures in a piece of tenderloin and place the garlic cloves in them - whole or cut in half lengthwise.
Step 5
Spread the mixture over the meat and leave to marinate. The marinating time is not regulated - the longer you keep the meat in the marinade, the more tender and juicy it will eventually turn out. You can marinate up to a day.
Step 6
Place the marinated beef in a steamer container and cook for one and a half to 3 hours. The advantage of steaming is that even if you overexpose the meat, it won't dry out. The longer you cook it, the softer, crumbly and tender it will be.
Step 7
With this method of cooking, a classic boiled pork is obtained, but not baked, but steam. It can be served hot or cold, with any sauce suitable for meat, as well as a side dish of fresh or steamed vegetables.
