The roasting time of the pumpkin depends solely on the size of the dish being cooked and the temperature at which the product is cooked. For example, when the oven heats up to 200 degrees, the pumpkin, cut into small pieces / slices, needs to be baked for no more than 20 minutes, and at 180 degrees - half an hour (by the way, you can sprinkle the product with sugar or pour over syrup, honey, then you get a delicious dessert).
It takes much longer to bake a whole pumpkin - from an hour to two. Vegetables with a diameter of 10-15 centimeters need an hour of simmering in the oven, 15-20 cm - an hour and a half, but larger ones are cooked in 2 hours. It is worth noting that the above figures correspond to the cooking of hollow vegetables (after removing the core and lubricating the inside of the pumpkin with melted butter), but if the pumpkin starts before baking, for example, with chopped meat or cereals, then the cooking time should be increased by 15-20 minutes.
Important: pumpkin slices, aged in a special marinade based on lemon juice or vinegar, cook a little faster. Therefore, if the product was pickled before baking, this should be taken into account and do not leave it in the oven for too long, otherwise it will turn out dry.
