A special occasion calls for exceptional dishes on the table. For example, romantic evenings and dinner parties are rarely complete without a menu. At the same time, the preparation of the main dish of the evening should not always take a whole day. A simple ocean delicacy dish like breaded shrimp on skewers is quick and easy to prepare. And the result of the work will certainly be justified.

- - 25 boiled shrimps;
- - 4 tablespoons olive oil;
- - 1 tbsp. dry white wine;
- - 10 cherry tomatoes;
- - basil;
- - 100 g sour cream;
- - bread crumbs;
- - 100 ml of vegetable oil;
- - lemon juice;
- - skewers.
Instructions
Step 1
Take shrimp and peel them off. The tail shell should be removed carefully so as not to damage the meat. After that, place the tails in a ceramic bowl and cover them with a mixture of olive oil and dry white wine. If desired, you can substitute a little vinegar for the alcohol, but wine is preferable as it helps the marinade penetrate into the fibers of the shrimp meat. Top of the shrimp is covered with a thick layer of sour cream with chopped basil, after which the mixture can be stirred two or three times. It is important to do this without effort so as not to crush the tender shrimp meat. The marinade is placed in the refrigerator for 3-6 hours.
Step 2
Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half. The shrimp should be removed from the marinade and dipped in breadcrumbs. There should be enough breading so that a firm crust forms on the meat so the shrimp will not burn. If necessary, you can spread the marinade on the shrimp again to make the breading thicker. After this, tomatoes and shrimps should be planted alternately on skewers.
Step 3
Heat oil in a skillet until it sizzles. It is important that the diameter of the pan is much wider than the length of the skewers. In other words, the filling of the kebabs should be in full contact with the butter. After that, place the skewers at a sufficient distance from each other. On each side, the shrimp should be cooked for no more than a minute. This is enough time for a crispy crust to form and the meat to steam.
Step 4
Decorate the dish with basil herbs and sprinkle with a few drops of lemon juice just before serving - this will refresh the taste of the dish and add spice to it. Serve breaded shrimp without removing from the skewers. The dish can be eaten with your hands, carefully wrapping the oiled ends of the skewers with a napkin. This delicacy is served both cold and hot.
