If it is not so easy to find lovers of semolina porridge, then many people eat manna with pleasure. In its preparation, the simplest and cheapest products are used, the time is insignificant, and the result is an excellent sweet dessert.

- 1 cup semolina
- 1 cup flour;
- 3 eggs;
- salt on the tip of a knife;
- 100 grams of butter;
- 0.5 tsp baking soda.
Instructions
Step 1
To prepare the dough, break 3 eggs into a bowl, add a glass of sugar, a pinch of salt, beat with a mixer into a dense, homogeneous foam. Add a glass of kefir or liquid, low-fat sour cream (and it is best to mix sour cream with kefir), continuing to beat the dough.
Step 2
Melt the butter over low heat and pour into the beaten mass. Pour in a glass of semolina in the same place. After the mass becomes homogeneous, add a glass of flour, add slaked soda.
Step 3
The dough is ready, but don't rush to bake it. The best result will be obtained if you let it stand for half an hour. During this time, the semolina will swell, the dough will become more viscous.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 180oC, grease a baking dish with oil. Line the bottom of the dish with baking paper or parchment. Pour the dough into a mold and place in the oven for half an hour. Before removing the pie, hold it under the grill for 5 minutes - the top crust will brown.
Step 5
Remove the finished cake from the mold, let it "rest" under a clean towel. Now cut it into pieces and serve with tea. You can decorate the manna with any jam.
Step 6
If you cook this dish often, diversify it. One of the options is to separate half of the finished dough and add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to it. Pour the dough into a mold, alternating between black and white layers. You will get an original striped cake.
Step 7
Another option is to layer the finished manna with lemon impregnation. To do this, grate 1 lemon with the peel on a fine grater. Melt 100g butter, add 0.5 cups of sugar. Beat the lemon with a fork with the yolk of one egg and pour into the butter. Bring the resulting mixture to a boil, remove from heat and refrigerate. Cut the mannik crosswise into 2 parts, coat with impregnation, collect, pour the rest of the impregnation onto the top cake.
