The main feature of manna is the use of semolina as the main ingredient. As a rule, a little flour is added to most of these products. This recipe will allow you to cook manna without it, which will make the cake especially tender and airy.
It is necessary
- - 1 glass of semolina;
- - 1 glass of kefir;
- - 0.5 cups of sugar;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 1 teaspoon of baking soda;
- - salt;
- - icing sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour one glass of semolina into a deep dish and add half a glass of granulated sugar there. Pour the products with a glass of kefir. Stir well and leave the semolina to swell for about 3-4 hours.
Step 2
In a separate plate, beat the eggs with a mixer until a homogeneous thick mass is formed. Add to them a little salt and soda, which does not need to be quenched with vinegar (kefir acid will be enough for this).
Step 3
Pour the beaten eggs into a bowl of semolina and mix the foods with a mixer. Grease the multicooker bowl with oil and gently pour the mixture into it. Bake the cake on the Bake setting for 35-45 minutes. Turn the finished manna upside down (since the top will remain white) and decorate with powdered sugar on top.
Step 4
You can bake manna in the oven. To do this, grease the mold with butter and pour the mixture into it. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and cook for about 30 minutes.
