  • Flour - 2 cups;
  • Vanilla essence - ½ tsp

  • Sugar - 7 tablespoons;
  • Cherry - 500 g.

Preparation:

  1. The first step is to prepare the filling. Wash the cherry and remove the seeds from it. If desired, you can add some cherry berries to the cherry (rinse them and remove the seeds). If you don't have fresh cherries on hand, you can use store-bought frozen berries. To use these berries, they need to be thawed and washed before cooking. It should be borne in mind that the weight of frozen berries is more than fresh ones, so you need to take more of them.
  2. Pour the prepared berries into a form that you need to pick up right away, because it is in it that the cake will be baked. The baking dish can be any shape you want. Cover the berries with sugar.
  3. Next, prepare the pie dough. While the dough is cooking, the berries will have time to absorb the sugar and release the syrup. Beat eggs with sugar in quick movements, add a spoonful of salt and baking powder. If there is no baking powder, then extinguish the baking soda (half a teaspoon) with vinegar and add to the mixture.
  4. In a separate plate, mix the sifted flour and kefir. Then mix both mixtures in one bowl, mix well. Pour vegetable oil into the resulting dough, this will prevent the cake from sticking to the walls of the baking dish. If you want to give the pie a zest, you can add a little vanillin to the dough. Stir the resulting mixture, its consistency should be similar to pancake dough.
  5. Next, pour the prepared dough onto the candied cherries and mix everything thoroughly. Place the cake in the oven. Bake the dish until the dough rises and the cake is golden brown. You can decorate the cake with fresh berries.
