Ingredients:

  • Zucchini - 3-4 pcs;
  • Minced beef - 400g;
  • Rice - ½ cup;
  • Onions - 2 pcs;
  • Sour cream;
  • Egg - 1 pc;
  • Cheese - 300-400 g;
  • Salt pepper.

Preparation:

  1. To prepare this dish, it is best to take young zucchini up to 20 cm long. They need to be peeled, cut in half, peeled off the seeds and boiled in salted water. If you have large garden zucchini, then it is better to cut them into thick rings and boil them as well.
  2. Turn the ground beef in a meat grinder and put on the stove to fry.
  3. While the minced meat is fried, peel one large onion, chop it finely and put it on the meat when almost all the liquid has evaporated. Fry everything together and finally pour in half a glass of sour cream. Let it boil and remove from heat. It is better to take sour cream not fat, up to 10%. For those who are especially careful about their figure, you can replace sour cream with low-fat yogurt or completely exclude this component.
  4. Boil rice in lightly salted water until cooked.
  5. In a dish, mix the minced meat in sour cream sauce and rice, break the egg there, add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
  6. Fill the zucchini halves with the resulting filling to the very brim.
  7. Grate the cheese, sprinkle the boats on top.
  8. Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil, put boats (or rings) on it and put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. You need to bake literally about 15 minutes, until the cheese melts, since all the products are ready.

The dish is ready. It can be used alone or garnished with fresh vegetables.
