Chocolate truffles are an exquisite delicacy for sweet lovers. Homemade they differ from those bought in the store, but packed in a beautiful box or candy bowl, they look very attractive, and the taste of homemade truffles is not inferior to good chocolates.
Homemade chocolate truffle recipe
To make homemade chocolate truffles, you need to take the following ingredients:
- 1 pack (250 g) cocoa;
- 1 pack (250 g) milk powder;
- 500 g of granulated sugar;
- 100 ml of water;
- 150 g butter;
- vanillin.
Set aside one and a half tablespoons of cocoa powder to roll the finished truffles, and mix the rest of the cocoa with milk powder. Make sure that there are no lumps left. Then add soft butter, which must first be taken out of the refrigerator, and rub well with the powdery mixture, put the vanillin. You can also add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, which, when combined with cocoa and vanilla, will give the truffles a pleasant flavor. If there are any nuts, from half a glass, they can also be put into the mass, having previously peeled from the shell and chopped.
Pour granulated sugar into an enamel dipper and fill it with water. Put on a low heat and heat until the sugar is completely dissolved, but do not bring it to a boil. Pour the resulting syrup into a mixture of cocoa with milk and butter and mix well to make the mass homogeneous. After cooling, it will become viscous, soft, like dough, from which you can sculpt cookies of any shape.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of granulated sugar to the set aside cocoa powder and stir, Place a box of chocolates in front of you, take a teaspoon of chocolate mass (try to make all truffles the same), roll balls the size of a large walnut with your hands, roll them in cocoa and put in a box.
Cover the box filled with chocolate truffles and refrigerate. Before serving, remove the box from the refrigerator to warm up the candy a little, so it tastes better.
Chocolate Cookie Truffles
To make cookie chocolate truffles you will need:
- 400 g of cookies;
- 250 g butter;
- 200 g of granulated sugar;
- 2 tbsp. l. cocoa powder;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 tbsp. l. liqueur (brandy or vodka);
- vanillin.
Melt the butter over low heat. Put granulated sugar in it, stirring slightly, let the mixture cool. Pass the cookies through a meat grinder, add it to the butter mixture, beat in 2 eggs, pour in liqueur or cognac, add cocoa powder, vanillin and stir everything well. If there is a hazelnut in the house, peel it and bake it in the oven until golden brown (the kernels should remain intact).
Place a box of chocolates in front of you and, taking a teaspoon of the prepared chocolate mass, roll it with your hands into balls the size of a walnut. Put the hazelnuts inside, but you can do without it. Try to make truffles the same size. Then roll the balls in a mixture of cocoa and granulated sugar or crushed nuts. Place the finished truffles in a box, cover with a lid and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
