Salmon and salmon fish are so tender and tasty on their own that you have to be very careful in cooking them so as not to dry the fish or discourage its taste with strong spices. The best salmon combination you can think of is lemon. It is not for nothing that restaurants always serve this fish with a slice of fresh lemon.
It is necessary
-
- Salmon
- Lemon
- Foil
- White pepper
- Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Scale the salmon and remove the head and entrails. Using a very sharp knife, cut the fish into steaks according to the number of servings, and wash each one thoroughly. It is better not to use the tail part for steaks.
Step 2
Prepare baking foil according to the number of steaks. Each piece should be large enough to wrap fish like an envelope.
Step 3
Season each steak with salt on both sides and sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper. Fish seasoning can be used if desired.
Step 4
Wash the lemon thoroughly, preferably with a stiff brush. Cut it into slices.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees.
Step 6
Place the steaks on pieces of foil, put lemon slices on top so that the fish is completely covered, wrap the linen in the foil, put the resulting envelopes in a mold and put in the oven.
Step 7
Cooking time depends on the thickness of the steaks. If you cut thinly (1 cm or slightly thicker), then 20 minutes will be enough. If you made thick pieces, you will need to hold the fish in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
Step 8
Before serving, remove the lemon slices that the fish was roasted with and serve with fresh lemon, cut into quarters, or sprinkle the steaks with prepared lemon juice.
