Marinate onions in lemon juice
Ingredients: 1 large onion, 1 lemon, 50 ml of water, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. sugar, herbs and vegetable oil to taste.
Squeeze juice from one lemon. Dilute it with warm boiled water, add sugar and salt, stir everything thoroughly. Finely chop the herbs, you can take parsley, dill, coriander or a mixture of them. Pickle onions in vinegar
Ingredients: 2 medium onions, 120 ml water; 3 tbsp. l. sugar, 30 g vinegar, 1/2 tbsp. l. salt.
Chop the onion into half rings or rings as desired. Place it in a glass jar. Combine salt, water and sugar in a saucepan. Put it on fire and bring to a boil. Add vinegar, it is better to use 9%. Pour the hot marinade over the onion and close the jar with a lid. Once the marinade has cooled, the onion can be consumed. It must be stored in the refrigerator.
Pickling onions in wine vinegar and beets
Ingredients: 1 onion, 1 medium beet, 150 ml of wine vinegar, 150 ml of water, pepper and salt to taste.
Chop the onion, scald it with boiling water and place in a bowl. Cut the beets into small pieces and add to a bowl of onions. Dilute 1: 1 wine vinegar with water. Add pepper, salt and mix everything.
