A hot dog is a delicious instant bun, but a purchased dish is quite harmful and high-calorie. Homemade hot dogs made from aromatic buns with delicious filling are quite another matter.

Heat the milk over low heat, but do not bring it to a boil. Take a deep bowl and pour half of the heated milk into it, add dry yeast and granulated sugar. Stir the ingredients thoroughly to dissolve the sugar completely, then place the bowl in a warm place, such as a radiator or gas stove.

When a kind of yeast foam appears on the dough, beat one chicken egg with salt in a separate small plate and add it to the dough. Next, add 370-380 grams of flour to the dough, mix thoroughly, then pour the required amount of vegetable oil into the dough, mix again.

Cover the dough with a tea towel and put it back in a warm place for half an hour. During this time, the volume of your test should approximately triple. After the time has elapsed, add the remaining flour to the dough, knead it and leave for another twenty minutes.
Step 4
When the dough is completely prepared, place it on the table, sprinkled with a little flour beforehand, knead the dough and divide it into equal parts for buns. Form each part into a cake.
Step 5
Roll each cake from both sides to the center, pinch in the middle. The hot dog buns should be rectangular, so shape the dough to the desired shape.
Step 6
Grease each bun with a little vegetable oil and place on a prepared baking sheet, previously lined with parchment paper. Place the buns in an oven preheated to 200 ° C and bake them for twenty minutes. To make your buns golden brown, brush the surface with a beaten egg five minutes before they are fully cooked.

After the time has passed, remove the buns from the oven, let them stand for a while, and then remove from the baking sheet.
