Before using the waffle iron for the first time, wipe it thoroughly first with a damp and then dry cloth. Turn on the device and warm it up for 20-30 minutes to burn off the grease from the parts.

Before baking, grease the inner surface of the waffle iron with vegetable oil - it is convenient to do this with a gauze swab. During the baking process, the lubricant will have to be renewed. Roll the finished waffles into tubes or cones while they are still hot. After cooling, the products become brittle and crumbly.

To make the waffles tender and tasty, use high-quality fats such as butter margarine or butter for baking. Flavor the items with vanilla sugar or essence. After baking, the waffles can be stuffed with whipped cream, boiled condensed milk mixed with ground nuts and waffle crumbs, as well as butter or custard.

You will need:

- 125 g creamy margarine;

- 30 g of sugar;

- a pinch of vanillin;

- 4 tablespoons of cream;

- 4 eggs;

- 100 g of wheat flour.

Before preparing the dough, the flour must be sieved, the waffles will turn out to be more airy and tender.

Break the eggs, separate the whites from the yolks. Mash the yolks with sugar, beat the whites into a strong foam. Melt margarine, combine with cream, add whipped yolks and vanillin. Pound everything until smooth and alternately add sifted flour and whipped egg whites to the mixture. Stir the dough gently so it doesn't fall off.

Preheat the waffle iron to the operating temperature indicated in the instructions. Pour 2-3 tablespoons of dough on the lower half of the mold, cover with the top of the waffle iron, press lightly and hold for 1-2 minutes. When steam stops coming out of the appliance, open the lid and carefully remove the wafer with a wide knife. Roll it into a tube and place on a plate to cool.

You will need:

- 125 g butter;

- 125 g of sugar;

- 350 g of wheat flour;

- 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda;

- 2 eggs;

- a pinch of ground cloves;

- 0.5 lemons;

- 0.5 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.

If you don't have ground cloves, grind the cloves in a coffee grinder.

Wash the lemon with a brush, dry. Grate the zest on a fine grater. Mash butter softened to the consistency of sour cream with sugar, add eggs one by one, add in portions sifted flour mixed with spices and soda quenched with lemon juice. Knead a light dough.

Pour the dough into an electric waffle iron in portions and bake the waffles. Place them on a platter, cool and serve. Vanilla ice cream can be served separately.
