These chops are made from chicken meat, so they are very tender. Nuts add an original flavor to the chicken, vegetables are slightly crispy and sweetish, with a pleasant pungency of ginger.
It is necessary
- - 4 chicken breasts;
- - 60 g of hazelnuts and almonds;
- - 2 eggs;
- - oil for frying.
- For a vegetable side dish:
- - 200 ml of coconut milk;
- - 200 g of leeks, carrots, bell peppers;
- - 100 g of onions;
- - 50 g butter;
- - 4 cm of ginger root;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Beat off the chicken breasts (if they are very large, you can cut each in half), sprinkle with pepper and salt to taste. Mix chopped hazelnuts and almonds together. Beat chicken eggs with a small pinch of salt.
Step 2
Sprinkle chicken chops with flour, dip each bite in an egg, then in chopped nuts, fry on both sides until cooked (3-5 minutes on one side).
Step 3
Now prepare a delicious Asian-style side dish for the chops. To do this, peel the carrots and bell peppers, cut into strips. Chop the leeks and onions larger. Rub fresh ginger root.
Step 4
Melt the butter in a skillet, add the grated ginger, add the carrots and fry together for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the rest of the vegetables, mix, cover with coconut milk. Reduce heat and simmer vegetables for 5 minutes, until coconut milk thickens. No need to cover, stir the vegetables from time to time. Season with salt to taste, remove from heat, cover and let stand for 10 minutes. You don't need to fry vegetables for a long time - they should crunch a little.
Step 5
Serve hot cooked nut-breaded chops with vegetables. Since the dish turned out in an Asian style, you can eat it with Chinese chopsticks.
