It is necessary

    • For cupcakes:
    • 200 g dates;
    • 2 bananas;
    • 1 tsp soda;
    • 100 g butter;
    • 150 g flour;
    • 50 g sugar;
    • 2 eggs;
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon;
    • 30 g of chocolate.
    • For the sauce:
    • 100 g sugar;
    • 100 g butter;
    • 1 tbsp. cream.

Instructions

Step 1

Remove the seeds from the dates and boil the fruits in water for 5 minutes. Dried dates should be soaked for a couple of hours. Dry the finished fruit and put it in a food processor. Chop them to a puree, then add half the bananas to the mass and turn on the processor again. The fruit should turn into a smooth mixture.

Step 2

Leave the butter at room temperature for an hour to soften. Then put it in a bowl, cover with sugar or powdered sugar and beat with a mixer until smooth. Break eggs there, add ground cinnamon. If desired, it can be replaced with vanilla. Grate the dark chocolate and add to the rest of the ingredients. Add vinegar slaked baking soda. Mix everything and add the date-banana mass to the semi-finished dough. Finish with flour. Pour it in gradually, stirring thoroughly so that no lumps form.

Step 3

Find the right cupcake tins. It is most convenient to use silicone - it is easier to extract the finished pudding from them. Brush them with butter. Place the resulting dough in each mold so that 1/3 of the container's height remains empty. Add 2-3 slices from the remaining bananas on top. Place the tins on a baking sheet or wire rack in an oven preheated to 180 ° C. Bake the muffins for 15-20 minutes. Their readiness can be determined with a toothpick. Pierce the dough gently. If the stick remains dry, the puddings are ready.

Step 4

Make a caramel sauce. Heat the cream on the stove, but do not bring it to a boil. Dissolve sugar in them. Then add oil there. Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally, until it thickens. Serve the prepared muffins hot and accompanied by a sweet sauce. The best addition to this dish is English bergamot tea.

Step 5

If desired, the sauce can be changed. Mix boiling water with sugar in a 1: 2 ratio. Cook the sauce until golden brown. Drizzle over muffins as you serve. Remember that, unlike the first recipe, this sauce hardens very quickly.
